The Enchanted Princess is a Beautiful ship and we really enjoyed out time onboard during our 20 day Trans-Atlantic cruise from Ft. Lauderdale to Barcelona x 2. First I will start with the boarding process which was an absolute breeze with the medallion pendant already in hand we were in the waiting lounge within minutes of arriving at the port. We quickly went up to the Lido deck and enjoyed a hearty lunch. Once allowed into our cabin we discovered that having a mini-suite for the first time will be quite possibly worth the extra $$$ in the future, we loved it. Having a separate living room if you will was a nice bonus as well as having a bigger bathroom and huge balcony. We were in cabin L1** and our steward Victor did a great job for us.

I am not a fan of the way that dinner dining has gone to basically everyone has the "dine your way" experience, I much prefer the assigned table and if you want the dine your way that is your option. For us on this cruise this was not an issue because with a mini suite came Club Class. Club Class is in the same dining room but on the other side of the ship and as long as you qualify there is no waiting to be seated and can pick your seat. We sat in the same waiters section each night and had exceptional service and food. The bar staff for the most part was very good, one exception is that there is a big difference between a Kahlua and Milk vs. a Kahlua and Cream. If a passenger is ordering a Kahlua and Milk you don't expect to get the other. We ran into this dilemma with a couple of different bartenders but was quickly corrected each time. We had one other issue with the bar staff that is more about the Medallion App than the bar staff. While sitting in one of the bars one night we used the Medallion App to order a glass of wine that was listed on the app. After waiting 20 minutes we checked the app for the status and it said that it had already been delivered. We then went up to the bar and the bartender said "Oh we don't have that wine at this bar" and gave us a different wine. It would have been nice if any one of the servers would have come to us during that 20 minutes and told us this which we then would have made a new selection from what they did have. Again this is more of a feature on the Medallion App that needs to be tweaked a little bit. Also we had on this cruise the Premium Package which should give you a better class of alcohol or wine. Only on a few occasions were we given the better wine based on our package without specifically asking for it. All of the waiters can see that we have the premium package on their devices and yet only a few of them offered the upgraded option.

The entertainment onboard is subjective we found two performers that we really enjoyed the Victoria trio and Static with Static being our favorite. The shows onboard were ok but not great. Most of Princesses cliental are middle aged and the shows seemed to cater more to a younger crowd and appeared at times to have agendas in there choreography. In our opinion the cruise director and his staff were not as involved as we have experienced in the past. There was only 1 deck party on a 20 day cruise (sold as a 14 day and 6 day or as a 20 day) and even then it was kind of lame and was on the 6 day portion of the cruise, nothing on the longer part.

Cabin Review

Our mini suite cabin was amazing and Victor our steward was great as well.
