This is my 27th review for Cruise Critic. Unlike some reviewers that join this group just to complain about a bad experience, I have, for the past 10+ years felt obliged to write about my cruise experiences. I am a professional writer in another life which tends to make my reviews verbose, long and thorough. If you want to know simply if we liked our time on the Edge, just count the stars. If you want to know the how’s and why’s, read and enjoy. The short story is that we loved our time on the Edge, but there were definitely some quirks worth noting and some high points worth celebrating.

This was our 48th cruise and our 3rd with Celebrity. We favor RCCL because of the perks from their loyalty program (we are Diamond with them). We really appreciate that Celebrity honors our status with Royal on their ships, therefore we come aboard as Elite members and enjoy the perks of “Diamond” members. We are both in our mid 60’s.

For many years, we have cruised two to five times per year, but the plague put the brakes on that. This is our first cruise in just over three years.

Cabin Review

Very nice cabin with plenty of storage, even for such a long cruise. We loved the modern gadgetry; huge TV, charging station, the connectivity to your phone. Terrific bathroom
