We have been on all the Disney ships and this was our 10th cruise with Disney. Our 17th cruise overall. I was very excited to see the new ship Disney Wish. However it was not as beautiful as any of the other Disney ships. Very bland especially in the staterooms. Unrecognizable as a Disney cruise. We booked an inside cabin which we have on other Disney or RCL cruises and we understand they are smaller. But this inside cabin was so poorly designed. The little couch was facing the bed and the TV was perpendicular to the couch, so to watch TV you would have to sit on the side of the bed . No drawers or special storage areas like on the other ships. It was so bad that for the first time ever we ask for a change of room. We had to wait until sailing so they would know for sure what was available and we did get a different room. It was a handicapped room so very large. The guest services were great. But the size of the ship made it seem like you had to walk marathons to go anywhere and this ship only had Forward and Aft very small elevators that you get packed into like sardines. You will have to wait for the elevator. Disney was very stingy with seating around the ship so there is no where to sit if you get tired of walking. Speaking of stingy the adult area was an afterthought on the top back of the ship (another long walk)with a very small pool and limited seated. No shaded seating as on their other ships. I don’t think they want older adults on this ship. I have to mention on our cruise the show Little Mermaid was not good because it was stopped twice for long periods of time because of technical difficulties. I would say half of the audience left. Their shows are usually the best so I think that will improve. We were also disappointed with the lounges (small) and lack of music or bands on the ship. The food was good. Our dining room waiters were the best ever. Because of the number of people on this cruise Serenity bay was packed with people so it wasn’t serene at all. No seating available was available so we went to family section to eat.

Cabin Review

As I already said in the review above the inside cabin was no good.We originally booked an inside cabin which for first time ever we asked to be moved.(upgraded) No “special” porthole like on the Dream & Fantasy. The rooms are very blandly decorated not like the other 4 ships.
