This was our 2nd cruise on Princess with my two sisters. We cruise every February but like to do different ships/lines. Our first was on Regal in 2016 so the layout and feel of the Sky were the same to that. Beautiful ships! A bit glitzy in terms of the Piazza but classy still. We had the Princess Plus package which was awesome! We usually don't have the alcohol package when we sail so this was reallly nice to not worry about each drink and doing the mental calculation of how much am I spending.

We went with my sister in law and her friend so that was different traveling with another party. The friend had never been on a cruise so it was fun experiencing the week through her eyes and seeing her enjoying it. Not sure she would put her vacation dollars to cruising again but she liked it.

Embarkation was fairly quick. It was a bit chaotic as there were four of us together with our newbie friend being dropped off and us trying to find her in the sea of people. Once we connected it was about 25 minutes (about) to board from when we got in line. We parked the car at the cruise port. Read more
