I just got off a 7 day Caribbean cruise on the Ruby Princess out of Galveston. My adult son and I had an absolutely wonderful time. It was our first time on Princess. I bid on an upgrade from a Club Class Mini Suite to a Premium Suite and was upgraded to a Penthouse! You can imagine how thrilled we were. Embarkation was seamless. We were in our cabin by 1:00 p.m.

The ship is so beautiful and wonderfully classic. There were only a handful of children and most cruisers were seniors. I am a senior myself so I fit right in. Service in the Club Class section of the restaurant was perfect. Nino our server and Kevin his assistant met our every need. We didn't have to ask for a thing. The food was excellent on the level of fine dining.

The cabin was so spacious and the Princess bed is to die for. I wish I could have taken it home.

Port Reviews

Costa Maya

Lot of shop owners pestering you to buy. Not a pretty port.

Roatan

Loved this port. We rode the sky lift. A little frightening but beautiful to be above the trees.

Cozumel

This is where I buy my organic vanilla. Otherwise just ok.
