The Christmas on the Rhine trip was a beautiful voyage down the Rhine stopping at all of the major cities along the way. The Christmas markets in each town are unique and offer a great opportunity to experience the local culture and food. The Viking cruise made the best of the trip by providing for our every need on board and on shore. The ship's activities continually adapted to the locale and presented us with even more culture as we sailed down the river. The food was great and the service was even better. The staff took care of our every need and made the trip a once in a lifetime event. The tour guides at each location were local, experienced and did a great job making sure all of the guests enjoyed their time during the tours. The included tours at each stop really helped expose us to the beauties of Switzerland, France, Germany, and Netherlands. We look forward to our next cruise with Viking.
