After hearing how “great” Royal cruises are we decided to give it a try. Well, it was the worst experience we’ve ever had! Very unorganized and severely lacked efficiencies (took us 30+ mins to check our kids into the kid camp they have, anytime dinning was a big mess even with a reservation each night), when asking an employee a question it was evident you were bothering them or they just walked away from you without answering your question. The food was mediocre & the scheduling of activities made no sense. Our port of call was canceled due to the weather (not their fault) but the activities they added were minimal and weird times. RCCL needs to hire employees better suited for hospitality! Even if it were FREE I wouldn’t go on another Royal cruise… I’ll stick with Carnival. Carnival has better food, CUSTOMER SERVICE, activities and just more enjoyable!
