This was my fourth Viking cruise and at this point, I can't imagine cruising with any other line. I didn't really choose this itinerary; it chose me through an offer I couldn't refuse.
I love the Viking ships and I love knowing exactly where I am and where to go as soon as I step on board. I get the greatest sense of homecoming each time I return. It's like a beloved vacation resort that takes you to new and exciting places.
The itinerary was exciting, and I loved Athens, but Ephesus was truly amazing. Our guide was fantastic and really brought it all to life. Being able to walk into the library and some of the different areas was really special.
Cabin Review
After four cruises (three with my own cabin), I know exactly what to expect and can unpack in less than 30 minutes. The cabin is comfortable, I LOVE the balcony and calm, serene, decor. I've seen pictures of other comparable cruise lines' cabins, and so many are what I've heard called "Las Vegas strip decor".
