This is our third Viking cruise. We were very pleased with the first two but a little disappointed this time.
Firstly, it is Antarctica expedition but the ship didn’t even reach the Antarctic circle. Most of the guests would probably not know that. The ship cruises around Antarctic peninsula where it is so close to the Antarctic Circle. It would be much greater psychologically for the guests if it can go a little further into the Antarctic Circle.
Secondly, the expedition reservation system is a major failure. We made web reservations. The reservations are showing on the expedition page but not our daily calendar on board so we lost some of the very demanding reservations.
