Tour guide explained details of architecture
You could not get lost the guides were very attentive, small groups and listening devices so you could hear the guid up to 100 feet away. Did not miss anything
Wife talking to a Netherlands citizen who has lived in a windmill with his wife for 40 years. Every person we met in Europe was friendly and genuine.

the trip was absolutely wonderful. We started in Amsterdam through Germany a trip into France and ended up in Switzerland. The ship was absolutely wonderful. The staff could not have been better. every single thing that you could think of that you would need was provided for on the ship. I liked the Viking included excursions and they had optional excursions that were available if you were interested. tour guides were locals, and they really enjoyed what they did, and they really covered a lot of information you wouldn’t have known otherwise about architecture and the history of the area.

We walked between 2 1/2 and 4 miles a day and it wasn’t really too difficult, but you should bear that in mind if you have limitations. The people in Europe were universally, kind, and polite. Everyone that we needed to communicate with spoke English, the euro was equal to the dollar so there was no money conversion to worry about.

Pro tip I don’t recommend doing your money exchange at the airport. There was a 22% effective charge to convert dollars to euros. There was no charge to get money from the ATM in euros.
