In general, I would rate my recent voyage aboard the MSC Seashore a solid C. It certainly was not the worst out there, but there were a few events that grossly overshadowed any highlights of the experience.
One thing to keep in mind is that MSC is an Italian based cruise line with a large European following that is still breaking into the American market. As a result, people should be prepared to experience behavior from fellow guests in crowds, lines, and during performances than may not align with what is considered normal or proper in American culture. (i.e. lack of decorum or awareness of queuing at a buffet, talking through or over stage performers)
Embarkation
In general, the Cabin was a decent size with plenty of storage and the Stateroom Host took great care of us. The only thing I didn’t care for much was that the bed was next to the balcony door rather than in the center of the room. Even though having the sofa in the middle of the room did make the space feel a bit larger.
The bathroom, specifically shower area, is tiny. It was difficult to turn 360 degrees without bumping an elbow on the control valves.
