We chose this cruise because it was a smaller ship ( 680 guests) and because it was Oceania - a higher end line. We have sailed on Carnival (1x) Holland America (1x) Royal Caribbean (2x) Celebrity (2x) previously. We booked 2 years prior to sailing and we were looking forward to it as we hadn’t travelled due to COVID. The ship was small and because of that, (we had a balcony cabin )the staterooms were tiny. Fortunately we could put our suitcases under the bed - some guests couldn’t. Some guests were large and honestly, I don’t know how they showered or went to the toilet! The bathrooms were ridiculously small. The food was hit and miss! Undercooked meals, same menu every night and the Specialty restaurants were worse! Jaques Pepin would be horrified! Something was very “off” with this cruise! The guests I spoke with all said the same thing. The night before we docked our suitcases were pulled out ( get packed, you are leaving)! Our robes were removed and fresh one’s were put in the closet for the next guest. What? Some things you can’t put your finger on. This cruise was just “off”. Because of this, we will NOT be sailing with Oceania again! Many guests (who have many Oceania cruises under their belts) are saying the same thing. Sad really. We wasted a lot of money! Wasted!
