This cruise was chosen due to the exciting itinerary. We were especially interested in the Normandy Memorials near Le Havre, France; seeing Stonehenge, and Belgium. As always, this cruise came with a nice pre excursion in Oslo with the train ride over the mountain to Bergen. The train trip was awesome. AT this time of the year there was still some snow on the mountains which added to the "WOW" factor. The cruise was well organized with nice ports in France, UK, Belgium, Portugal and Spain. The best thing about this cruise is the included excursions were well organized so that everyone could experience the port highlights. The post excursion was in Barcelona and was well worth the expense. Barcelona is a beautiful city and Viking provided a city tour by motor coach. Although the tour was nice we added a second tour through Trip Advisor. Our tour guide gave us a 3 hour personal walking tour of the city old town and then took us on the Metro to see the Sagrada Familia. The tour tickets included the walking tour, Metro tickets and admission to the Sagrada Familia. Great cruise and fantastic memories.
