Norway was on my bucket list and I had an excellent experience with Viking River Cruise a few years ago. Boarding was relatively simple (much simpler than for a larger cruise liner). The room was very nice and the lounge areas were very comfortable. Entertainment was just ok but that was not why we took this cruise so that was alright. I appreciated the excursions and in that respect very similar to the Viking river cruises. I appreciated that the ship was was much smaller than the big ocean cruise ships, that there was free wifi, and that there were no children. Service was excellent throughout especially in the restaurants. I also appreciated that the two specialty restaurants were free with excellent food. Also the fact that the ship was relatively small it was easy for my wife to navigate her way around the ship. All in all I highly recommend Viking Ocean cruises.
