We chose Viking because of their reputation. Our experience with the service, food, & excursions exceeded our expectations. The cruise director, Marie, kept everything organized for the excursions and made the onboard evening activities fun. We were briefed each evening on the next day's agenda so there were no surprises. The food prepared by Chef Max was delicious and the ability to mix and match menu items ensured that there was always something that was appealing.

The excursions were very interesting and were led by very knowledgeable local guides. We learned so much at each of our stops and the only disappointment was there were more excursions at the some the stops than we could do. It made for some difficult choices.

The staff onboard was outstanding and very personable. Our cabin attendant, Dani, did a great job and was always very timely. The Maitre'd and all of the serving staff did an excellent job to meet every need.
