Everything was fabulous with the exception of the cost. I found out that I paid twice as much for the cruise as the others on my level. It bothered me the entire cruise and put a damper on what would have otherwise been a fabulous vacation

The ports were great, the tours were enjoyable and informative. The staff was amazing and the food was delicious. Became friends with others on the cruise and looked forward to each day. We were fortunate that there was enough water in the river that we did not have to change ships. That would have been annoying but, no choice. Kind of out of everyone's control
Purchased the Amsterdam extension. The room was beautiful, the included breakfast was wonderful. The location was terrible. It was very out of the way and difficult to get to because of all the traffic and bikes. Would have preferred a more central location.
The hotel was right at the water where the ship docked and perhaps that was the reason for the choice by Viking. It took a long time to walk to the center of the town and back.
