We found everything sparkling clean. Our hall steward made himself known quickly, and offered his services 24/7. He always greeted us by name. I had some trouble with their app, which was a challenge at times. Internet was better than expected though. Shows were very good, and fine dining was wonderful (was free and no tipping)! Reservations required. We loved our balcony, I requested unobstructed view. Two chairs, little table and the hammock were adequate and lovely to have. We were quite happy with disembarking at the different ports, you just walked off the boat in a few minutes, and walked back on easily. We did a city tour in Sardinia, which we didn't like. Dirty town. On one island they provided buses to take and return us ten minutes into the historic area. Portofino tour was a long bus ride and a crowded ferry ride to and from Portofino (which was beautiful). Their advertisement for this shore excursion made it sound like a quiet boat trip through canals looking at the homes, etc. If I'd known it was over an hour bus trip, and a crowded ferry ride, I wouldn't have booked it.

Most of the help were Filipino, and it was a little difficult to communicate with the soft spoken. They mostly seemed eager to help, and some visited with us (we're old, so surprised at this). We found it easier to just pick up our food in the food court area, rather than wait for someone to take our order. Sometimes they seemed to ignore you. Also, people would get food, not eat it, and leave. Nobody would know if they were returning. They need to work out a solution to this. We often directed them to take away stuff.

We didn't use the gym, which was quite well equipped, or the exercise regimes. It looked like others were enjoying these options. The pool area and lounge chairs were very popular. We didn't care for the loud music, just stuck to the quieter areas. Read more
