Queen Mary 2 (QM2) Review

It's definitely not the cream of the crop - it barely rises to the top! - Neither worth the money nor the experience.

Dirty lounge chair.
Tea table dirty.
Dirty Water glass.
Moldy toast at breakfast.
Rusty balcony.
Rusty balcony.

Celebrating a 25-year wedding anniversary of friends. Check-in was slow and tedious. Personnel unable to properly read vaccination certificates (due to dates in UK and USA being written differently!).

Debarkation was an absolut disaster. They blamed it on the US Authorities. Not sure it's to be believed.

The dress code, although highly-touted, was neither applied nor enforced. Don't bother bringing/renting a tuxedo for the so-called gala nights. There is nothing gala about it, least of which is the food (at least the first gala night).

Cabin Review

Balcony, sheltered

The rooms were nice enough but had low-priced hotel hangers! The water pressure in the shower was slightly above a trickle. Upon arriving, there was dirty water glass in the bathroom and a dirty bathrobe in the cupboard. We got a 1/2 bottle of champagne but not glasses to drink it out of. Tea table was also not wiped (see photos). Rust and stains on the balcony (see photos).
