Sail Date: Aug 2022
Traveled with children

Booked this cruise for just myself and my 2 Grandchildren aged 15 and 11 because it was the only suitable date we could go together. Easy parking at Southampton right in front of the ship. Embarkation was as well organised as it could be with so many to get on board . Ship beautiful. Was impressed by the lift system. The food was lovely and I'm fussy! Staff were friendly and helpful. Spoke to lots of people and they also had nothing but praise for the whole experience. My Grankids found the pools to be too salty, but thats our only complaint. 1st time with MSC, but it won't be my last. Maybe its a company that is more suited to families, but there was always somewhere I could find that was quiet. If my partner and I go on our own I would probably book when kids were at school. I really don't understand why there are so many bad reviews about ship. Honestly there was very little that wasn't perfect.

Cabin Review

Usual balcony cabin size. Spotlessly clean and the most comfortable bed I've slept on. Well designed for a family. I found the cabin to be really quiet. It did have a connecting door to the cabin next door, but this must have been well insulated as we heard no noise through it.
