I chose this cruise as the itinerary suited dates etc. and left from Southampton, UK avoiding all the airport hassles of late. I had parking with AB at the Horizon terminal - smooth process, entered car park and was directed to a space. Grabbed bags from boot and walked the short (flat) distance to cruise terminal/ship.

Processing onto the ship was very smooth indeed. In fact, due to good traffic i arrived 2 hours early for my checkin time of 1pm. However, this was not an issue as was waved on through to the ship and sipping my first G&T by 11.45am.

The ship is truly beautiful to look at - the atrium with its LED display, the walkways into the main areas of the ship are fabulous. My inside cabin on level 12 was compact, but well laid out with plenty of space inside for me as a solo traveller.
