I have chose this cruise for two reasons: first, the cruise ends in Quebec city, my hometown, second, I wished to try a princess cruise. Usually, I cruise on Royal Caribbean, Cunard, Celebrity and Norwegian and when I analyze and compare this cruise, it is always with the cruises I have done on these other cruise companies. In general, it was a good and honest cruise. This means that everything was running well. The quality of the staff was more than excellent. The waiters and waitresses at any bar were excellent and they remind my name and what beverage I prefer. My stateroom attendant was excellent and always available. The shows were very good, quite excellent. However, it was the most quiet cruise I have ever done. There are so many old persons, generally retired, and many of them with disabilities. That means that the activities were slower and that the passengers go to bed before 23 h 00. The buffet is good but could be better. The dinner in the dining room could offer more choices. However, the offer of ice cream, hot-dog, hamburger and French fries on the upper deck alongside the swimming pools is an excellent idea.
