We chose this cruise as we were interested in Greenland and it's communities.

To some degree we also wanted to see the artic wilderness and glaciers and get an appreciation for the damage that global warming is doing.to these sensitive environments.

Fridtjof Nansen is an excellent ship being only a couple of years old. The size of the vessel (500 passengers) makes it a relatively intimate experience with great service, combined with its hybrid credentials it is much less damaging to the sensitive environments visited.

Cabin Review

We chose an arctic superior cabin on deck 8 with a balcony.

We were very impressed with it.

The cabin was a good size with a comfortable bed, stocked fridge and plenty of storage space.

The bathroom had an excellent shower and was a good size.

A large TV was available with a range of channels, realtime ship location and a channel to allow streaming of updates, lectures etc from the comfort of your room.
