We always wanted to be on a river cruise and we finally did! After lots of research we decided on Avalon. It was a wise choice! Fantastic people, from the Cruise Director Maria Pascual to all the crew. I'm a Personal Chef and I can tell you the cuisine and the service was first class (fantastic breakfasts). I talked to your executive Chef every day and I even got to meet the Corporate Chef while he was visiting. Fantastic excursion run by expert guides and choice of hotel (Budapest Marriott). The only change I will make for my next cruise is to choose an aft cabin so we don't hear the engines at night. We met great people and made good friends on board. Great espresso machines and loved in particular your flavored sparkling water choice. My wife is an avid iced tea drinker and she was very pleased to have access to it 24/7.
