Sail Date: Feb 2022

This was my first cruise since the Rona uprooted our lives. Left out Galveston, TX on Feb 12th, 2022. We are thankful that we flew into Texas 2 days early because bad Winter weather between WI and TX would have otherwise delayed our flights! The ship was extremely nice and clean. The staff was hardworking and accommodating. I felt like the live entertainment was a little subpar compared to pre-pandemic, however that's to be expected to some extent. The majority of the passengers appears to be excited and thankful to finally be putting the pandemic behind them. I also appreciated it that the Carnival staff were not such sticklers on mask wearing, and met everyone else at their own comfort level.

On the 2nd day the seas were a little rough, but it did not last long. This is my 4th cruise, 3rd with Carnival. It seems like the quality of the food keeps increasing, and the meals were absolutely delicious. I would Definity suggest eating at all the specialty restaurants.

I don't have too much to say about the ports of call, as we remained on the ship the majority of the trip (hey it rhymes!)
