My husband and I cruise very often and we enjoy the Princess Cruise service. On this cruise, we had a balcony cabin on the Riviera deck towards the back of the ship. There was a sewage blockage somewhere in the ship and the cabins became flooded. The staff did their best to clean it up but I requested to change cabins. As you walk on that particular area of the ship, you can see the moldy residue of the constant flooding in that area.
This ship was fully booked. There was a noticeable staff shortage. I had scheduled 6:40PM dinner throughout the cruise. The one night I went at 6:40, I left the dining room at 9:30PM. The waiter was doing everything, except cooking the meal himself. Just like everything else, this ship is understaffed. It is a sign of the time. Dinner at the steak house and Italian restaurant was fantastic, we went twice to each in the 7 days.
All the ports were excellent, we enjoyed the beaches. Bring your snorkel gear and floaties.
