I stopped sailing Carnival because I was disappointed in prior cruises. I booked this one because my family had a last minute cancellation of a family camp vacation. I was very, very surprised at how good this cruise was and I would not hesitate at this point to book another Carnival cruise.

Other than embarkation, the cruise was nearly flawless. We had a set dining time (7:45) in the dining room and after the first day we walked in and were served by the same dining room staff immediately. My 9 year old grandson was very picky and ordered his dinner with specifics each day. Each day, they bent over backwards to accommodate him. There was really good entertainment in the dining room thanks to the very talented multi-national crew. The food was tasty and there was good variety.

My cabin was absolutely one of the best I've ever had. It was well appointed with a better than usual shower. Everything was in very good working order.

Cabin Review

I had an unobstructed view balcony cabin on Deck 5 starboard. It was lovely - better than a similar cabin on the brand new Discovery Princess. There was plenty of storage, the bed was very comfortable, the deck was large, the shower was larger than most.
