We chose Viking as having travelled with them before, we knew what to expect and were not disappointed. We had every confidence that the 'Covid management' was under control, and we felt perfectly 'safe'.

The ship was beautifully maintained, the staff always friendly, helpful and cheerful. The food was excellent, a good variety and always some locally themed dishes. Before the evening meal there was a very interesting and helpful Port Talk that advised us what was on the agenda the next day. There were both included and optional outings, that were always well organised. We did a number of the included tours and these were relevant to the areas, with knowledgeable guides. The walking tour of Regensburg was particularly good, as was the Hungarian Horsemen show. It was a bit disappointing that the Lipizzaner horses were 'resting' in their stables, and we were unable to see them perform. Although not on an official tour/recommendation, the Dachshund Museum is Passau was well worth a visit! (this was near the Cathedral)
