We had travelled with Viking before ( in the Baltic Sea, 2019). We love the ambience, the decor and the service levels on all Viking cruises that we have been on. We love the fact that you pay for everything upfront, so that there is no onboard tipping, a daily shore excursion is included, and that there is nothing extra to pay for using any of their excellent restaurants.

The staff are polite and attentive, there is a large range of places to eat. The covid secure arrangements were assiduously followed, making it feel very safe and secure.

The included excursions were all well organised, and gave you an insight to the various destinations visited. There was also a wide range of other excursions which you could pay extra for. We did a couple of those, and found them to be good value. Read more
