We didn’t get the cruise we booked. We’d signed up for a cruise with several ports of call but, because of the ship’s mechanical difficulties, most of our excursions were cancelled. The port of Ketchikan was eliminated from the itinerary before we even got onboard the ship, eliminating one of our most desired destinations. The ship wasn’t running at full speed and didn’t make it into ports early enough to do planned excursions. Our family and friends all felt that the company cheated us out of the cruise that we’d booked. It was a disappointment to all onboard.

We were lucky enough to cruise into Glacier Bay, the highlight of our trip.

The staff everywhere were kind and attentive, the stateroom comfortable, the food delicious. The only problems were the lack of itinerary and exploration of the state of Alaska, which is why we booked the cruise.
