Never had been to the Eastern Caribbean and had been on the Caribbean Princess on 3 previous cruises. We had enjoyed cruising on the Caribbean Princess on our previous cruises. Accommodations were good, food and entertainment were good, and staff was excellent. Our only other cruise on a different Princess ship was a cruise to Alaska on the Island Princess, and the cruise was excellent, our overall opinion of Princess cruise was very favorable. While on this cruise we met some very interesting people, we felt the level of service was not what we experience on previous Princess Cruises. It was our understanding that one of the main reasons for the service was a crew shortage. While we were somewhat disappointed in this cruise, we considering taking a future cruise on a different ship. We have been to Alaska, New England, and now the Caribbean on Princess. We are interested in maybe taking a European cruise in the next year or two. Again, prior Princess Cruises were very good, this one was a little disappointing, but will still consider cruising on Princess in the future.
