Sail Date: May 2022

This was a cruise we had planned to do in 2020 but alas that company failed to survive the pandemic. The itinerary changed a month before and St Petersburg was replaced by extra stops in Sweden and Denmark. We were unable to go ashore at Skagen due to poor weather conditions.

Embarkation was frustrating as the car park had been moved and there was insufficient signage, however we were quickly checked on board by staff at the terminal.

The cruise was a great success with friendly cabin and waiting staff. The restaurant food was well presented, good quality and the service was very quick. Borough Market restaurant served an alternative menu in an informal setting and the food here was good with plenty of choice. The Saffron restaurant was liked by those we spoke to. We didn’t pay for a drinks package however the drinks themselves are reasonably priced. We did buy standard WiFi which we thought was expensive.

Cabin Review

Very comfortable with plenty of storage space.

The ventilation lacked enough temperature variation so it wouldn’t go lower than 21 degrees and the sink didn’t drain properly for the first 2 days but was repaired.
