When we landed at London Heathrow, we were able to find Norwegian without an issue. They had a kiosk stand in the middle of the arrivals terminal after baggage claim. We proceeded to the bus to take us to the pier, which was a new pier for the ship to leave from in Southampton. We (everyone going on the bus) left our checked luggage to be transported via truck to the pier. Once we arrived at the pier, we found that the truck with the luggage would not be coming until late afternoon after everyone had arrived at LHR. The personnel at the pier didn’t know a truck was coming and had no idea how the baggage would make its way to the rooms if we didn’t tag them with the Norwegian specific tags.

While trying to board, my wife and I ran into issues with the issuing of our key card which resulted in a slight delay. Once this was resolved we joined the line to board the ship. When we scanned our card to board, we found that they had mixed up our pictures when issuing our key cards so we had to go back to get that fixed. Once they resolved that, we went to the front of the line, scanned the card, and were told it didn’t work and to go to guest services. Guest services ultimately ended up issuing new cards, which actually resolved the issue.

When we got to the room, there was an empty cup in corner and finger or toe nails in the floor near it. I made note and was going to escalate to guest services for a deep room cleaning next chance I got. My wife and I went to dinner and after ordering my a glass of wine, we’re told our key cards wouldn’t take the charge and to go to guest services to get it resolved. Read more
