First, Scenic had terrible issues with their website and staffing. So it was practically impossible to communicate with anyone even months before the cruise. We never received as much as a document or a pamphlet to tell us what was expected of us as passengers or what was the actual itinerary and times for embark and disembark.

Everything was a huge mystery to us! No email was answered, no phone call back. Our cruise agent was not any luckier. He provided some generic information but told us that Scenic site was down.

We received communication from Scenic only three days before the departure and it was just the requirements for COVID testing and so forth. Very generic info.

Cabin Review

This was supposed to be their nicest cabin with a very scenic balcony. It was the only feature that we enjoyed thoroughly. Unlike the other ships, our cabin allowed for us to enjoy the views of the river without having to go anywhere. It was terrible to dock next to ships with no privacy but on most days it was totally worth paying extra for the huge windows.

The amenities in the bathroom were nice and the decor was very tasteful; beige and white. Everything in good condition and spotless. Having our butler was a total plus. All laundry cleaning included and hors d’oeuvres served every day with a fully stocked minibar. It was the best feature of the trip.
