First time on Norwegian. Have cruised on Carnival, Royal Caribbean and Celebrity. Had high hopes for this cruise line as they are suppose to be more “elite”.

Let’s start with the positives. The STAFF is what stops this from being a completely negative review. They were all so nice, friendly and made you feel welcome. The cabin was okay. Same as other cruise lines.

Unfortunately that’s where the positives end. Embarkation was a nightmare. We did the pre-cruise check in and scheduled a time to board 1:00-1:30. We got on at 4:15 (was suppose to leave at 4:00). We stood in line for over 3 hours in a hot port line. Never seen such a horrible boarding process ever!! Food was okay - buffet was not impressive at all. In fact we could not even eat at the dinner buffet - it was horrible. Cagney’s was absolutely awesome. Best food ever. As was o’sheehans we ate there a lot.
