Embarkation - COVID testing at Port Canaveral:

COVID testing was offered at the port for fully vaccinated cruisers for $10 charged to their Sail and Sign card. Our thinking was this will save time, money and gas trying to get tested prior to embarkation.

We stood in the first long, winding line to be told we had to get into a second long line. This is the first error on Carnivals part. We should have been directed to a separate line in the first place. Once through that over hour long line and negative test results, they processed our passports and photos. The ship was 2 hours late in departing the port. Carnival committed to the testing by accepting all the requests. Limited testing slots might have reduced the time.

Cabin Review

Cabin is clean the standard balcony on deck 7. The balcony was dirty. We had a scheduled balcony clean halfway through the cruise. We did notice the fridge was not cold. We left the cabinet door open to release some of the heat from back of fridge. Otherwise, the cabin was just what we expected.
