Since this was a charter cruise will make my review only about the ship & ports. This was our 1st time on the Celebrity Summit which has been nicely updated. We were in the Consierge cabin a type of mini suite. The room was very nicely decorated & comfortable with plenty of storage space. Only complaint is they changed the original sofa with a big chair so only room for one person as opposed to two. Our room steward, Putu, was great! We never wanted for anything & our room as spotless.

We ate in the main dining room every night. On the 1st night we had a fantastic wait staff combo of Augustus & John so we asked the supervisor if we could have the table saved for us every night. He approved so we were able to have them both as our servers every night. Could not have asked for better service. The food was also very good. Only problem is my husband is a very picky eater so on some nights he had to settle on the same dish....the chicken on the every night menu. He did get his favorite meal of turkey one night but would have been nice if there was a "not fancy" pasta dish such as fetticcini alfredo on the every day menu.

All public areas were nicely decorated & the ship is fairly easy to navigate. Did not use the casino or any specialty food areas. Also can't comment on the entertainment as this cruise had it own which was fantastic. The theater has a nice set up with good views from most every seat. Read more
