We wanted a quick, 3-day getaway. Carnival offered a suite upgrade on Deck 7, not far from the atrium elevators. Big mistake, however, as very loud music permeated our room nightly (from the lobby stage on deck 3; it didn't just waft up the atrium, it got louder as it moved up it seemed! The room steward was great and allowed all of us on the deck to close the fire doors; it was the only way we could sleep before midnight. We're not sure why Carnival didn't keep the atrium music to a dull roar at night- the daytime musicians there had perfect non-intrusive volume, after all.

First Carnival cruise - I went for Guy's burgers and Big Chicken- let me tell you - the Chicken place was awesome! Wasn't convinced about Guy Fieri's burger joint though. Odd hours meant Pig and Anchor was closed much of the time, and Blue Iguana was only open odd hours.

The buffet was the smallest we've ever seen - but with Covid crowds (i.e. small) it wasn't bad- and though choices were limited, the food quality in the buffet was very good.

Ensenada

It was a pleasant day in Ensenada- no excusions, just walking around the waterfront and the hugely upgraded downtown shopping area- it was pleasant, we felt quite safe, and enjoyed our 1/2 day off the ship. Unfortunately - though it didn't rain, it wasn't warm, either- and a bit windy too.
