The ship is to big for my liking. The hike from place to place is taxing on older people with physical problems. The main problem is with the design of the ship. You can't just go from one end of the ship to the other on some of the public area floors. You may to change floors when trying to get to the dining room from the front or middle of the ship. We went down to catch a ferry to shore at Belize. We were told the ferries would be at the front and mid ship on deck four. Being at the front of the ship we went down to deck four and were told it would be 30 minutes before the next ferry arrived. We went back down a short time later and were told to go to midship to catch the ferry. You could not just walk down the hall to midship. You had to get on the elevator and go up to the promenade deck 7 and walk down to the midship and then back down to four. The size would not have been such an issue, if they ship had been better designed. This was the 22nd cruise we have been on and the ship design has to be the worst. The high tech aspect did not work very well, i.e., the medallion app. The food was somewhat average, but it was nice being back at sea for a week. We missed having a true promenade deck that circled the ship. The price for the cruise was right and ship was probably less than half capacity, which was nice for the passengers. We saw the Carnival Valor coming into Cosa Maya and wondered why it was arriving so late in the day. We found out later that a woman had fallen overboard on it. Apparently they stopped to try and find her and when they could not they journeyed on. Music was blaring from the Carnival ship, so they did not let it stop the partying on board, apparently.

Cabin Review

Balcony

The cabin itself is OK for two people. The only problem is the bathroom is tiny and if you have 2 CPAP machines you will need to run a chord or have some extra way of connecting. The supposedly high tech ship did not seem to have enough regular outlets on both side of the bed.

Port Reviews

Belize City

First time to Belize - it was fine and we went out to the Mayan ruins. Save some money and take an independent excursion. They are plentiful and good.
