We typically cruise on Princess (10 times) and Royal (4 times) but saw a very cheap last minute cruise so we drove to Galveston to check out Carnival since it has been over 10 years since we tried Carnival. For sure the best thing about this cruise were the food options. I tried all the free options. The Buffet is NOT the main feature on this ship and lunch has more options than dinner.

-Pasta Bar- upstairs deck 11 -Stairs are behind the buffet desserts. Fill out sheet of paper with options for pasta, sauce, and meat and wait about 7 minutes for the freshly prepared dish. I got 1/2 serving of Alfredo with Italian sausage and it was spectacular! I only ate there 1X due to the calories but it was worth the splurge. ONLY OPEN at lunch.

-Guy Fieri Burger joint- Best thin cheeseburger and delish bun all hot with tons of options like grilled mushrooms on the toppings bar. Be sure to ask for the onion ring on top with Donkey sauce. Closes at 6:00 pm.
