We went on the cruise as a special treat as we would not normally spend this amount of money on a 10 day cruise. Silverseas were highly recommended by our travel agent who told us to expect 6 star treatment.

Our initial thoughts about the ship were very positive it was in pristine condition. The staff were excellent (The staff on every cruise that we have been on were also excellent), and our Butler was very conscientious and informative. He kept our fridge topped up with our requirements.

Our first complaint was that the air conditioning was very very noisy .Our butler confirmed that Silverseas new that it was noisy but they still put us in this suite. The following day we were moved to a new suite on the same deck which was fine. We later discovered that there were only around 220 people on board so why would anyone allocate us a room that they knew was a problem.

Cabin Review

The cabin was nice and clean, fairly spacious. Plenty of wardrobe space. Nice balcony. The size of a mini suite on Cunard.
