Sail Date: Nov 2021

We last sailed with Silversea 10 years ago (on Silver Spirit) but when we saw a cruise that appealed to us we thought we would give them a try again. We had very little communication from Silversea after booking other than an email explaining their covid procedures. No luggage labels were sent out and they didn’t tell us that would be the case either.

On our previous cruise in the Caribbean we didn’t think Silver Spirit handled the rough seas very well and the suite creaked and rattled so much we had to resort to earplugs to get some sleep. We had exactly the same problem this time on 2 nights. The balcony decking we reported on our last cruise as a tripping hazard is just the same on this cruise even though we were in a different suite.

We were met at Barcelona airport by an agent but they didn’t wait at the baggage hall exit as usual. There was a general airport sign showing where cruise passengers should go so look out for that or you could very easily miss the agents.
