Embarkation was a breeze. The muster drill was very quick and organized. The ship is the most beautiful we have been on in almost 100 sailings BUT----

ENTERTAINMENT---We had heard not to expect much but what that had is the theater was fine but the music before dinner was started at 6pm so nothing before early dining and it ended before late dining. We usually have a drink before dinner and like to watch a musician(s)preform. Also they listed the different venues for entertainment but the times just said "7:15 to late". They all seemed to take an extended break (over an hour) at the same time each night around 8pm. Nothing to keep you entertained from 8pm to 10pm. Seemed like to would have been smart to stagger the entertainers.

STAFF---We found the staff very professional and helpful. Our dining room waiter and his assistant were extremely efficient, giving all their tables cheese and fruit plates, telling jokes and making napkin flowers. It reminded us of the way cruising was 10 years ago.

Cabin Review

Balcony Stateroom

Balcony cabin was VERY clean, roomy with lots of storage space. Bed was hard and really needs a new mattress as it was pretty broken down. Again this was an older MSC ship and for us no one in the industry can beat the RCCL/Celebrity beds.

Port Reviews

Cozumel

We have been to Cozumel many times and it was nice to see how much they have cleaned it up during the pandemic.

We walked from the downtown dock to the International dock (4mi) to an all inclusive called Casa Del Mar. It is new and they are charging $29 for all you can eat and drink. The food was great and the place is clean, has a small pool, water access, and lounge chairs with umbrellas. It is for adults only and they only allow 50 people.
