My wife and I are MSC cruisers. We love going on their ships. They are elegant. Service is great. Food is good. We adopted our grandchildren a few years ago and started taking them on cruises. They are 6 and 7 now when we went on the meraviglia on September 18th. This is their 2nd MSC cruise.

This was the 1st seven day cruise from the whole covid thing. We only had just over 1500 passengers on board. The ship holds 5000 passengers. You would think that they would go out of their way give you a great experience. It was nothing like that. I also want to say that the CDC doesn't want you to cruise. I am sure the cruise lines are having a tuff time keeping up with the regulations.

We are fully vaccinated but had to do a covid test 2 days before the cruise. The grandkids had to have a test done 3 days before the cruise. Embarkation is a pain now with the regulations. The kids had to have another test done before we were able to get on board.
