Sail Date: Jan 2020
Cabin: Boardwalk View Balcony

We went with this cruise as it was one of the only ones we could make work date wise with what was listed on the casino players free cruise list (first world problems...). Between vouchers we managed to upgrade to a boardwalk balcony room which was lovely.

This is the third oasis class ship we have sailed on and there are aspects of the new refit that I like and others that I’m not such a fan of. The water slides and revamped pools were excellent, downside of all the new cabanas and sunbed pods was that we found it difficult to find even two sun beds to lay out on- especially on sea days.

The room was lovely, enjoyed sitting on the balcony people watching and having a glimpse of the sea at the back of the ship. The view of the aqua theater was partially obscured by the new ultimate abyss slides, which was disappointing but you could still see about 60% of the water show. The water show was amazing.

Cabin Review

Boardwalk View Balcony

Nice bathroom, not sure if they were updated after the refit but seemed very clean and fresh.

Plenty of room for two people, we noticed a few other cabins had moved the coffee table and chair out to the balcony to make more room for more than two people.

Stateroom attendant (Ann Mary) was awesome.

View of the aqua theater is now obstructed since the new slides has been added.
