We wanted to visit the British Isles by sea. No other cruise stopped at so many ports. Since this was a smaller ship, we were able to visit more places. The onboard lectures were very informative, helping us prepare for each port, and the ship historian was outgoing and very accessible with any additional questions we had.
As Beatles enthusiasts, the Liverpool stop was fun and brought our favorite songs to life.
The rugged, exotic beauty of the Orkney Islands was unique. The people were so friendly and the neolithic history was fascinating.
