Although this was my second cruise with my wife, Deidra, this was our first as a married couple. I wouldn't go as far as to call it or honeymoon. We were wed the wk prior to sailing and we brought her daughter, my son, her dad and his companion, her best friend ( now mine too), and one of our bestie's other friends. The ship was a good size and clean. Their staff as always was phenomenal. My only complaint was the layout. We weren't able to enjoy meals on the aft deck like we were accustomed to on the Gem. The entertainment was solid and the food was great. We love the Brazilian restaurant. I would have tried the casino but as one of the smoking sections of the ship I won't go. It would be nice if they either banned smoking in the casino or incorporated a non-smoking casino on a different deck.

My son absolutely loved the children's activities and pool. We decided to stay on board when we docked in Port Canaveral and it was the best decision as me and my son got to use the main swimming pool without having to struggle to find a chair or towels. Our next cruise is in April and we are going for 10 days to Bermuda. We missed our towel animals on the bed but we were told you have to request that now. We will test that theory on our next cruise. All in all, we love Norwegian and although we have limited income we hope to sail aboard all their ships and for years to come!

Cabin Review

Mini-Suite with Balcony

Like mentioned above no towel animals. The cabin was clean. We had ample room for the four of us. Our balcony was nice and our cabin steward although never seen was thorough.
