The cruise to the Western Caribbean was great. We were on board for Christmas and New Years. We paid in full for this cruise in Early September but did not get a room assignment until a week before we embarked. We signed up for Club Orange with the promise of a room upgrade (instead of a ocean view room we got an obstructed view room), I would not recommend spending the extra money for Club Orange it did not provide anything special for us.

Our room was conveniently located and easy to find, but we noticed a sewer smell in the hallway after the first day, Then it permeated the room. After I complained to 5 people it was checked out and we enjoyed another day smell free. The ship sent me flowers as an apology. We then tolerated sewer odors for the rest of the 14 days. We were told that the ship was at full capacity and a room change was not possible. We received an apology letters while still onboard with a $200 on board credit. This was not nearly enough and I have requested a refund but have not received an acknowledgement of my request

Cabin Review

The room was comfortable except for the awful smell and a lifeboat in front of the window
