This was my 15th cruise across several cruise lines and I have always wanted to try one of the Oasis class mega ships.
At first I was concerned about too many people being on board but that was really not a problem as there are so many places to go. Definitely make reservations for the shows and dinner times. We did the anytime dining but having a specific reservation time certainly helps out. The staff was friendly, caring and helpful. All of the shows were spectacular, especially the aqua show in the huge pool aft of boardwalk. Book that one early in the cruise as it was cancelled several times during the week (weather & high winds). Mama Mia was really fun and had the packed house standing, dancing and singing along with the cast. I will say it was a great experience and will certainly do another of the Oasis class ships in the future!
The cabin was not any larger than normal but the balcony made it seem more spacious. The bathroom did not have adequate shelves for all of our stuff but that was really no big deal. The location is starboard forward so you could feel & hear the breaking waves. I thought that really enhanced the experience.
Walked off the ship and wandered among the old town streets. Lots of fun and interesting shops. We even had a Pina Colada at the restaurant that started it all! Fun day for sure.
Don't pay the high fees for the waterpark unless you have young kids. There is plenty of free fun stuff to do. Oh yeah, free wifi on the island .......
