My husband and I sailed on the 12/1 sailing of the Harmony of the Seas out of Port Canaveral. Embarkation was amazingly easy. We got to the port at about 10:45 thanks to great transportation from Country Inn and Suites. (We used the Park and Cruise deal which I highly recommend.) We just kept on moving all the way to the ship. It took about 10 minutes at the most without any glitches.

Our room was 8686 (an easy number to remember) located in the aft starboard side of the ship. This is a great location for us since we love central park. The steward was attentive and worked hard. Whatever we requested, she promptly responded to. We ate at Chops, Jamie's Italian, and Solarium Bistro for dinner. All restaurants were fine for us. I like the calamari at Chops and the garlic rolls at Jamie's. This is a secret, so don't spread it around: GO TO SOLARIUM BISTRO at least one night for dinner. It is quiet, relaxed and plenty to choose from. It was a buffet, but there were also some main entrees that can also be ordered off of a menu. My husband upgraded to a lobster, it was definitely a large sized lobster cooked well. This venue is free, but you need to make a reservation.

We ate a few nights in the Main Dining room using My Time Dining with reservations. I would recommend reservations. The service was good and the food served quickly and plenty warm. The waiters we had were good and no one even mentioned the survey until by husband commented first how great the service was. He even asked to talked to the head waiter to tell them how pleased we were with our waiters for two of the nights. It was the head waiter and not our personal servers that mentioned the survey in response to my husband's positive comments.

Cabin Review

Ocean View Balcony

The cabin is a great location especially if you enjoy Central Park. It was quiet and not too far from the stairs or elevators. The room attendant, Catalina, was personable and efficient. She responded to our needs and worked around our schedule.

Port Reviews

San Juan

We walked around Old San Juan on our own which is not hard to do and very close to the dock. It is a lovely place with colorful buildings and many parks. We would love to visit again.

Perfect Day at CocoCay

If you are looking for beaches and a very large uncrowded pool, this is the place to be. We just relaxed, had a drink, and a very good lunch. Transportation from the ship to the island and around the island is very well organized and helpful.
