Selected the Edge for Celebrating a family birthday. The Edge is a chic styled cutting edge designed ship. The technology used throughout the ship is top notch. We especially enjoyed the lighting schemes (wake up, daytime, movie and sleep) we could control from the in room digital control pad or the smartphone app.

The ship is adorned with many expensive feeling features and the live plants in the roof top garden are very nice. We enjoyed the numerous eclectic seating areas throughout the ship.

The only negative for me was the exclusivity of the front areas of the ship that were dedicated to the passengers in the suites only. The “retreat” may be nice for the suite people but it created a near caste level feel for those of us not allowed access to the exclusive sections. Additionally sail away for most passengers could only be viewed from the sides of the ship since the entire from 25% of the ship is dedicated to the suites and “The Reserve”
